Job Title: Communications Practitioner

Summary

  • Our client is launching a bold effort to reimagine how communication works within their organization—from internal documentation to outward-facing storytelling. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, creativity, and innovation, blending the precision of a communications specialist with the forward-thinking mindset of a digital transformation lead.
  • You’ll lead the charge in overhauling our current communications approach—moving us away from static, outdated systems like traditional wikis, newsletters, and rigid SharePoint libraries. Your missionbuild a dynamic, AI-ready communications ecosystem that organizes operational knowledge and tells the evolving story of how we work, what we’re learning, and where we’re going.

Associate Vendors: We are accepting applications from candidates who are currently authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship. No C2C or third-party agencies at this time. 

Role & Responsibilities

  • Documentation as Strategy: Build and organize content in SharePoint (initially) with a clear path toward smarter, AI-powered systems. You’ll create structured, meaningful documentation that can evolve into a knowledge base, not just a filing cabinet.
  • Storytelling at Scale: Translate workflows, decisions, and lessons learned into compelling narratives that help internal and external stakeholders understand the "why" behind the work—not just the "what."
  • Platform Innovation: Evaluate, challenge, and evolve beyond the current tools. You’ll push the boundaries of what's possible with Copilot, content management systems, and emerging AI tools.
  • Organizational Clarity: Bring clarity to chaos. Help the team not only get organized around documentation and knowledge sharing, but also shape how that communication happens across the org.
  • AI: This resource will be a go-to resource for AI and will utilize their experience & expertise to develop AI solutions & put it into practice. Responsible for building out the strategy & identifying opportunities for AI within the group. They must be able to motivate the teams & train them on AI practices

Required Qualifications

  • A strong communicator with a background in journalism, PR, or marketing communications. Must have strong Written & Verbal skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Copilot. You don’t just use CoPilot, you work to understand the positive impact it can have to organizations by creating efficiencies that are intelligent, automated, and adaptive.
  • AI Mindset. You invest time to learn about AI practices, new AI tools, and have the mindset of “If companies don’t implement AI, they will be left behind”
  • An Innovative Mind. Someone who doesn’t just respond—they lead. You proactively identify gaps, propose solutions, and get things moving without waiting for step-by-step instructions.
  • Highly organized: We’re not looking for a traditional PMP Project Manager, but we do need someone who can keep projects on track & organized, work with stakeholders, and drive a new program forward
  • Comfortable in SharePoint (for now) but excited to design what comes next.
  • A strategic thinker who knows that real impact comes from systems that scale and stories that stick.
