Full Stack Engineer

Our client is looking for a strong Backend Developer that can also navigate the front end to join their Navigation Team. This team is responsible for building and maintaining the navigation that goes across all their sites (i.e. the Header and Footer).

This individual will be responsible for the development of Navigation components and features, leveraging a common component framework.

Length:  3-months

Associate Vendors: We are accepting applications from candidates who are currently authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Implementing our Navigation components and services.
  • Agile Workstream
  • Self-starter who can get along with the team, quickly come up to speed on project profile and stakeholder landscape, work with parties to coordinate understanding of requirements, work with leads to chart a delivery path, and drive implementation using agile best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years’ experience in coding full-stack solutions in Java, including controller and service layers, and JavaScript on the front
  • 3+ years’ experience with various JavaScript libraries (e.g. jQuery, Lodash and Vue.js)
  • Cross-browser and cross-platform design and testing experience.
  • Proficiency with AJAX, API integration and RESTful services.
  • Experience creating, troubleshooting and implementing internal and third-party APIs.
  • Experience working on large websites, with many interconnected systems.

Desired Qualifications

  • E-commerce (or other OLTP) experience
  • Microservices
